Trend Alert: Peplum..
Spring/Summer 2012 was all about the bold peplum silhouette..you may be wondering what exactly is a peplum? It is a flared ruffle added to the waistline of a dress, jacket, or blouse. This was actually a popular trend in the 80's and is now coming back. I was never a ruffle fan but i love how it adds a ladylike flair to your ensemble. slimming your waistline while enhancing your beautiful curves..whats not to love? Although i would be very cautious when pulling of this look because the peplum already gives the illusion of hips and curves, so if you are more the Kim Kardashian body type ..stay clear..below are some looks from the S/S 2012 runways..I found this really cool video at popsugar so you can have a better idea on how to rock this look! xoxo

Real Vs Steal..
Do you guys remember this orange pleated Halston Heritage dress that Carrie Bradshaw (Jessica Parker) wore in the movie Sex In The City 2? How amazing did she look in it?.. I love the color.
